i used a brake spray cleasner to deal with the noise.
the spray was listed as safe for wheels, but a month after the rims showed white spots in the spray pattern.
i looked in the auto stores for rim cleaners products but they all seems to warn against use on motorcycle wheels.
so anyone know of a product that is meant for motorcycle rims and cleans with minimal effort? _________________ 2002 MZ 125SM |

For the chain-lube/greasy-goo that tends to collect on the rear wheel (if you use chain-lube) - that orange-scented hand-cleaner stuff (withOUT the abrisive pumice-stuff) works *VERY* well... as long as you apply it and "work it in" with your bare finters/hands... it doesn't work very well at all if applied with a rag because it needs the body-heat to be effective. |
