Big Bore kit? How much big bore??? 680ccm? oder a realy big bore with over 724ccm???
....hm..nice. But please, make some photos from a DIFFERENT sight and not nearly 5 similar ones  A low baghi (HR), right?
And make some pics from the carb

I think credit has already posted that he had a 727 big bore kit fitted. I presume this is the case, but think the 727 kit needs to have the stroke modified as well.
Nice lookig bike as well.

I think the previous posters would like more info on mods done, what iprovments and more pictures from different angles.
I would love to modify my Baggi for more power, but as money is tight I have to make sure the benifits are woth the expense 
Any idea on rear wheel BHP? I have spoken to one guy that used to race one of these bikes who recloned mid to high 60's using a 686 kit, different cams, gas flow work and exhaust. Seeing this bike go round the track was awasome, it sounded a lot less stressed than the other bikes and left most of the other bikes for dead

powder coated (electrostatic powder application, then baked to form coating) I think he said.

Look at the cost, at that invoice. Although you can leave out the $1300 [!] for polishing and powdercoating. That added to the price of a Baghira gets you over the price of a KTM, but you've still got the extra weight. And you have to take a chance on the machine work and so on.

Your right it was still revving lower. The thing really boomed through its twin pipes as well. One thing, it thrashed the pants off of everthing else on the straights
Besides the engine mods the rear subframe had been replaced with an ally one and it had a smaller ally tank fitted. Interestingly it stil ran the original wheels and suspension.
On th epoint of the cost of his mods, does this matter? He has got a bike that he likes and modified it to his own tastes. Much like a lot of bike owners. In teh UK its quite common for owners of other SM's like KTM's etc to spend a small fortune on modifiying them.

I was speaking to the corsemeccanica guy, Marco, a couple days ago. They just got back from some mono racing - one of their Skorpions came 3rd.

Well I'm probably going to spend money on Ti bits, and most people would say that's crazy. But you know it's an old 'trap'; you're often better off just buying the more expensive bike in the first place.
But, dyno it, and consider what it's for. Credit's got a hot street bike now, and it's different, it's unusual.
That the Baghira will always weigh more, you can balance that against the benefits of having more oil capacity and a stronger gearbox. |

| KTM's on the street suck, too many vibes for one and thats enough, dirts another story and racing yet another. I'll agree that a Panther with minor motor mods simply walk away from other bikes in a street situation and in the right hands you can make even the most hardened street freak racer boy wanna be look like a bitch. Nuff said.... sorry for the language, but KTM's do suck on the street. |

I think I saw this bike at Spare Parts (a shop in Phila.) It is beautiful. Good luck! If I was in the market I would consider it.
