Hi all you MZ owners. Just thought i would let you know the Slipstream Tuning website is actually http://www.teamslipstream.co.uk the old domain is currently still up and running but is actually not used by us any more as it was a rip off domain and site deal but thats another story. Please feel free to contact us via the contact page or just contact me direct. We can supply you with any XT660 engine parts/advice. I'm not here trying to poach customers but we can offer you a great service on all Tuning and technical advice should you require it. We will also have our new online shopping system live very soon and hope to offer discounts for MZ RIDERS.COM registered users. There will be an area dedicated to XT660 engine parts and i hope you can all benefit from this. The website will be overhauled and live in Jan 07 with an area for MZ owners alike. We are currently awaiting confirmation with MZRIDERS.COM on using this forum as our official MZ owners club also, with this we hope to bring some more MZ owners world-wide to without doubt the best MZ Forum around. Anyway its great to be on here and i hope we can be of service in any way. |

Thanks buddy. Yeh the shop will be finished and live very soon. We are just testing all the security issues and adding the SSL(Secure Socket Layer) which will protect the entire site and monitor any hacker activity. There will be discounts for all MZ Riders.com registered users. The only stipulation will be that members must have been here for a minimum of 3 months and been seen active in here. Otherwise we will no doubt get idiots trying to blag stuff cheap just by joining here and then saying they are owners, etc. Sure you catch my drift. There will be a specialist MZ area featuring all our racing Skorpions, including our very own 2000 Supermono title winning factory MZ (Only 5 in the world!). There will be features on MZ Baghira/Mastiff and will solely be for MZ owners ONLY! The new site will be live Jan 07 and i'm sure any MZ owner will love it. We will feature all the electrical wiring diagrams, engine specs, etc, etc. I will be sure to let you know when its ready and even give you a sneak preview before it goes live just to see what you lot have to say before we run with it. After all its for you owners and to add a touch of support that MZ fail to offer. If any members have any input they would like to offer me before i get too involved with the design of the new site then please feel free to contact me as any ideas juggled around may spur some great results that i might not of thought about.
The website forum we currently have will actually be replaced with this one as we are hoping to use this as our official Team Slipstream forum. Many of our regular customers are MZ owners or supermono racers that all have some great input thats relevent to the XT660 engine used on the Moto and the Skorpion. |

I had the pleasure of touring the shop in 04, Martin was very helpful answering the many questions I had.
Glad to see you've chosen this list!

Thanks buddy, that's real nice of you to say. Martin is an amazing guy to work for, a mentor and an inspiring mechanic. Wish i knew what he does! Its really awesome to hear people speak nicely of him and the company, thankyou. Its great to be here anyhow and i hope people don't take me as up myself in any way, it happened to me in another forum which i care not to mention, does my head in, i'm just here to help if i can, its my job thats what i do, its also my passion, so if i can help, i will and do so. Great to be among fellow MZ owners and bikers alike and i have met some really wicked people here already. Another excuse to turn the Lappy on!!!! |
