Never tried to empty mine, but just lifting it off the bike will show you what a handicap it is in both weight and performance. I have just fitted a new can and link pipe from the CarbonCan Co in the UK. this along with a drilled airbox has improved the bike immensely. I would save your energy and go for a replacement ( its not as if the original is very good looking either )

I see alot of M4's on ebay for much much less cost than new, but of course, none are for the MZ. I called them up to see if any of their other models would interchange and the guy I talked to said no, and he did not seem to try to be helpful. has anyone had any luck or are they truly model specific? Maybe I've become too much of a bargain hunter, lol.

hello

at the price of mufflers you need to be a bargain hunter

i have been looking for a replacement for my rt125
and my comment is i need a pipe but i dont want to refinance
the bike
they want more for a pipe than most guys in my area can afford
for a bike
ar dave

IF ANYONE KNOWS OF A PIPE FOR THE RT125 LET ME KNOW DETAILS
IT NEEDS TO BE LOW TO CLEAR THE BAGS AND LOW IN NOISE
SO I DONT WAKE THE DEAD AND KILL THE LIVING AT 5AM WHEN I GO TO WORK

The M-4 Can I have is Part # MZ 6312 (listed for a Mastiff) Polished
MZ 6314 Is Carbon, MZ 6316 is Titanium...................The bracketing for the tall baggy (see my pic) sucks, the picture is what it will look like out of the box waaaaay too low, I changed the bracket moved it forward twisted and screwed around to get it up............now, the exhaust tip is right under my blinker, I just used my own bracket, (no bending or welding was done!!)If you want see detailed pict of what I did I will be happy to post the shot with side cover off etc etc etc

Sounds like a personal problem........ I will take a couple shots of my bike and post them tonight our time....................when I did this I loosened all the bolts except the header bolts.... moved an twisted the whole can and mid pipe, (also slide the pipes closer together to get the angle) got it to where I liked it then tightened everything down.... its not the smartest way of doing it as I have some small leaks but they have always beens there, doesn't really bother me nor does the bikes performance suffer.........cheers

Phlat has had success with his yammy can... for waaaaaay less....when I saw the baby m-4 (on the 125 cc) at a bike meet with Phlat the other night) I was thinking hmmm time to go two... the big bore racers have seperate exhausts.... they've done the research.....I know..... its enough to drive ya crazy...... I'm already scratching my head building my KX 500 SM racebike... Cheers
