Anyone grabbing air with a Street Moto ?

Creek Crossings ?

Hill Climbing ?

Sand Duning ?

Snow Running ?

Stair Climbing ?

Best Tire choice for the above and still handle wet pavement ?

I use my baggi SM for off road occasionally. Best tyres to date for off road and wet roads are Avon Pro etreme rain tyres. Maxix intermediates are meant to be good as well. Touble is both types of tyre wear out real quick, I only managed just under 1000 miles on a rear Avon rain tyre. Avon also make Distanzas specifically for motards. I am curently just about to change the rear after 3500 miles +. They seem to give good grip on teh road, wet of dry and are chunky enough to give fair grip off road.

Stick with the Avon rains or Pirelli rains are excellent as well.... The Distanzias are a great dry tire and ok for off road............

I actually have a Avon rain on the front and a distanza on the rear. This make a pretty good combination. Loads of grip on the front and reasonable wear on the rear.
I have no complaints about the distanza rear, ok not quite as much grip in the wet, but I found the rain tyre on the rear gave a strange feeling in the dry after a few miles.
Both tyres are OK off road with my limited off road ability.

Everytime I grab air with my Baghira Enduro I come home with broken spokes. I had it on a loading dock once, I rode it down the stairs, launching it off the dock surely would have broke spokes...

no noises, no broken spokes, it does bottom easily though. the jump is top of 2nd, 4-5 ft lip, I am probably clearing 40ft or so.

Phlat will attempt to jump "anything" Laughing I go half as high and half as far on my MZ, I feel more comfortable jumping my KX. My MZ bottoms out a bit as well but its not bone jarring....The problem with urban jumps on our tracks is that we like 18-22 psi in the tires for fast heat up and max tire contact but when you hit these jumps even on my KX with my 230 lbs I can feel the tires squatt and the wheel is getting close to hitting hard.....Phlat mentioned the speed he is going, when he lands the forward motion (I think) takes alot of the downward energy away, I truly think different than jumping off a loading dock at a slower speeds......... Confused

A good ridding buddy is hard to find.....but once found ....watch out !!!

I'd like to hear more answers about how the Street Moto does on dirt trails/roads/fire roads? I'll be about 75-80% street, but WILL need to go offroad occiasionally for mostly dry and semi-loose conditions. Would expect to get 21/18 tires/wheels set-up for more serious off-road work.

What kind of experience with this do we have on the board?

Appreciate everybody's answers...

I have the (tall ) enduro Bagghi, and the first year I had it,I did a LOT of off road with it. I went places I shoudn't have, and I always made it back out! I am 6' 3" tall and have a 33" inseam, and I must say that there were times, on some side hill "goat path" single track, that my ass was puckering! ........my only other complaint was that the bike is a tad over weight, but that can be overcome if you are an experienced rider. In summary, I would say that the bagghi is very capable as an occasional off road bike, but you best be tall, and you best be a strong experienced rider.

I have been offroad with my Baggy SM.. It kept up with some KTM race SMs and also a yz250 crosser... Bike was actually pretty nimble but I was a bit wary about damaging the plastics as they arent as cheap as other Off road bikes Very Happy
