My 2002 SM has developed a hint of head shake, its obvious at 120 KPH, but if you pay attention it's noticable even at 60-70 KPH. I know on many bikes you can tighten up the head bearings with a collar located between the upper tripple-clamp and the head. The SM doesn't seem to have such a ring, unless it is located underneath the bearing end-cap. Does anyone here know how one goes about tightening the head bearings on this bike?
