Metmatchex swinging arm picture as requested-the actual bike is in the USA. I think it looks the dogs danglies.

Mick-PM'd you details of the bits I have left from my aborted project. I'll also see Steve and Rob Hunt (who has a seriously a beautiful 660 Yam engined racer he has put together-if I can find a photo of it, I'll post it up here for interest and idea's).

Really can't recommend H&S highly enough for their stainless, hand crafted pipes-half the price of other specialists, and far superior finish.

For the swing arm, contact here: http://www.metmachex.co.uk

Hayward and Scott are here: http://www.haywardandscott.co.uk

H&S manufactured the exhaust on my modified Saab turbo from scratch, having never done one before. It was superb, as they calculated all the flow rates based on what I wanted the car to do (i.e. low down power). It was a thing of beauty.

They do bikes too-last time I was there they had a Brough Superior, and two GSX-r 1000's under way. And cheap (ish) too.

OK, I know I am dumb but I need some advice.

saw these exhausts which are slip on

http://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/cgi-bin/dss2-cgi/ProdSel.pl?cat=BSM|MZ|MZ106

But the exhaust I have on at the moment is a full system which is fixed (make sense?) going to replace the full system, but can I get the rest of the exhaust to suit the above slip on?

Cheers
Mick

Mick

Contact Hayward & Scott. They will offer you the solution-either new downpipes in a bigger bore to suit the slip on, or they will make a short link pipe going from small to large bore. And it will have a lifetime guarentee too.

Trust me-if you want some one to sort out you pipes, these are the boys.

My merc will be going there soon as their handbuilt, 304 stainless steel system is cheaper that a replacement Merc system!!

Hello Whysub,

Will contact them, what bore are these exhausts currently, and what bore would I need to go to if I wanted to widen the amount of choice with slip-ons?

Cheers
Mick
